How Much Will it Cost for Upgrading from Current Plan to Higher?
1. When Upgrading from a Yearly Plan to a Higher Plan
If you have a yearly plan and plan to upgrade to a higher plan, you have to pay the price difference between the two options, and the time left in your current subscription before it renews. This applies when you upgrade from a lower yearly plan to a higher yearly plan.
For example, you bought the yearly Starter plan at $39/year on 1st January 2025, you decided to upgrade to the Studio plan at $99/year on 1st June 2025.
So, if you’ve already used the plugin for 6 months, then in that case, half the price will be deducted from your yearly Starter plan, and it will be adjusted from your Studio plan. You will only need to pay the remaining amount.
i.e. $39/2 = $19.5,
Now the price difference is $(99-19.5) = $79.5,
With 6 months left in the renewal. So you have to pay $79.5 only,
Similarly, if you’ve used it for around 8–9 months and want to upgrade, then approximately 80% of the amount will be deducted, and you’ll only need to pay the remaining balance. And if you upgrade earlier, the less the amount you have to pay.
