We have been working with WordPress since 2013. What started as a service company, building hundreds of websites, evolved into developing WordPress products that now power over 500,000+ websites. Being part of the WordPress community for so long, we’ve seen firsthand the struggles web creators face every day:

Our “Aha” Moment & Inspiration
As a web agency in the past, we constantly searched for ways to speed up our workflow. We worked with other agencies and freelancers who, like us, needed ready-made design templates to streamline new projects. The idea for WDesignKit had been brewing for a while, but it all clicked during a time-sensitive project for a friend’s NGO website.
- The challenge? We had to move fast. There was no time to design everything in Figma, export assets, and custom-code them in WordPress.
- Even with powerful tools like The Plus Addons for Elementor and Nexter Blocks for Gutenberg, we still lacked a unified starting point, something that would help us quickly create the first version of the site without starting from scratch.
- The turning point? We needed to build a custom donation banner that could be easily edited by non-technical users. Developing it from scratch took way too long and required advanced Elementor widget development, a process that wasn’t scalable for future projects.
- The realization? We needed a cloud-based solution where we could store and reuse custom headers, design elements, and code snippets, because Dropbox folders just weren’t cutting it.
