How to Import Templates From Cloud to Your Site in Elementor?

If you’re using Elementor and want to import templates from the cloud directly to your website, WDesignKit provides a seamless solution. With WDesignKit, you can easily import your templates onto any site using Elementor, saving time and effort in designing from scratch.

Requirement  – This feature is a part of The WDesignKit, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.

In order to import your Elementor template, you have to upload your template to the WDesignKit server. Learn the process.

Note: Make sure to log in to the WDesignKit plugin page.

There are two ways to import your Elementor template from the cloud to your site.

Import From Elementor Editor

To import your Elementor template from the Elementor editor, open any page or post with Elementor.

Then click on the WDesignKit icon, it will open a popup, go to the Templates > My Templates section.

Here you’ll see your Elementor templates.

If you are importing a page template, go to the Pages tab, and if you are importing a section template, then go to the Section tab. 

Hover over the template you want to import and click on the download icon.

It will open a popup showing the required plugin to properly use the template, click on the Install All button, and it will automatically download and activate the free plugins.

You can also click on the download icon beside the plugin name to individually download plugins. 

If you have the required plugins installed but they are deactivated, it will just activate the plugins.

Note: It won’t download the premium plugins.

Note: You can also click on the Continue Anyway link it will only install the template without installing the required plugins, but the template might be missing some elements.

Once the plugins are installed, click on the Next button, and the template will be added to the page or post.

Import From WDesignKit Plugin

You can also import templates directly from the WDesignKit plugin page, with this process, the template will be added to a new page.

From the WDesignKit page, go to Templates > My Templates page.

Here you’ll find all your Elementor and Gutenberg templates. You can easily differentiate the templates by the icons.

If you are importing a page template, go to the Pages tab, and if you are importing a section template then go to the Section tab. 

Hover over the Elementor template you want to import, and then click on the download icon.

It will open a popup showing the required plugin to properly use the template, click on the Install All button it will automatically download and activate the free plugins.

You can also click on the download icon beside the plugin name to individually download plugins. 

If you have the required plugins installed, but they are deactivated, it will just activate the plugins.

You can check the Import Theme Builder Settings? It will import the Elementor or Nexter builder settings.

Note: You can also click on the Continue Anyway link it will only install the template without installing the required plugins, but the template might be missing some elements. To use the Elementor template, make sure you have the Elementor plugin installed and activated otherwise you’ll get an error.

Once the plugins are installed, click on the Next button.

On the next screen, you can change the post type for the template, based on your choice, the template will be added to a new page.

You can click on the View button to view the template.
